ULTRA NORTH 55

55K (approx. 34 miles)

Starting and finishing within Derwenthaugh Park the 55K route follows the south side of the river through Gateshead, crossing the Millennium Bridge, then follows the north side of the river to Wylam, before heading back into the Derwent Valley, using the Derwent Walk to reach the finish line. 

NORTH 25

25K (approx. 15.5 miles)

The 25km route starts from Derwenthaugh Park, heading to the River Tyne, then south along the Derwent River, before climbing up the Valley side then west towards Highfield. A loop around Rowlands Gill leads back to Derwent Walk then back into Derwenthaugh Park and the finish.
